CASA IDAMAN, JALAN IPOH

I BUY AND LIVE HERE. THE IDEA OF THIS ENTRY TO GIVE SOME INSIGHTS ABOUT THIS APARTMENT TO THOSE WHO GOOGLE FOR "CASA IDAMAN"

ACCESSIBIILITY
- Jalan Ipoh
- Jalan Kuching ( you have to take stupid U turn in Jalan Ipoh)
- Jalan Sentul - Batu Caves - Gombak

DISTANCE TO:
- Giant Batu Caves: 10 minutes
- Nearest bank: CIMB, bapak MizzNina bank & Maybank in Jalan Ipoh 5 minutes
- Government clinics: 5 minutes, opposite the bank
- KLCC, Bukit Bintang, Lorong Haji Taib: 15-20 minutes
- Sri Hartamas & Bangsar: 20 minutes (via Jln Ipoh/ Jalan Kucing & Jalan Duta)
- OU, The Curve, Ikea: 20-30 minutes

POSITIVES:

1. Location wise, this apartment is OK. Just a way straight from Jalan Ipoh to the city - Jalan TAR area. You have to pass thru nearly 10 traffic light. If you are club goes, you still can leave home around 10pm to Asian Heritage Row. If you tired of KL city, you can always opt to Batu Caves, Kepong or Seri Gombak. Seri Gombak now has quite a cool place to hang.

2. Pasar Malam just 20 langkah from the gate every Selasa & Khamis. Its good to have this but once you stay here, you probably think like me - once a week is enough.

3. Walking distance to Kedai runcit & kedai makan. Tak sempat basah ketiak pun dah sampai. it helps in the event of shortage of your kicap or sabun mandi.

NEGATIVES:

1. Nursing students. Majority of them are in BLock B, block A is for male students. These students is quite an issue here as its affecting the value once any apartment/condo occupied by students.

2. It's quite high density. 20 houses in 1 floor and casa idaman has 18 floor. Do your math dude. But if you compare with Menara orkid etc in Sentol, Casa Idaman is much better. But bear in mind that Menara Okid is near to LRT.

3. During weekdays' morning, it takes 10-15 minutes to reach jalan ipoh via the flyover. I hate this most.

4. Not so proper management, especially in term of maintenance & guard.

5. Quite a number of Black, and they are suspicious!

6. Confusion of the name. The Condominium's term was used by the marketing team only. In all official documents, they stated this as Pangsapuri!

7. It's often associated with Jalang Ipoh. Actually it is located in Kg. Batu Muda territory. I think because Jalan Ipoh has more commercial value than Kampong Bla bla bla

8. Dirty at the adjacent area especially the road between the PPR and Casa idaman.

9. Quality is so so. My unit's ceiling is cracked. But its free to fix because it still under the developer's warranty until the end of 2012.
